A Message from Mrs. Carroll!

I am honored to serve as the Elementary Principal at Pettus ISD. I have been part of the Pettus ISD family for going on 11 years, and I am excited to continue serving our students, families, and staff in this new role.

What I love most about Pettus is the close-knit feeling of our community. The support our families and community show for our students and school, along with the incredible spirit of our Eagles, is what makes Pettus such a special place to be. I am proud to be part of this community and look forward to continuing to build on the strong foundation that makes Pettus unique.

I believe every student deserves to feel known, valued, and supported. Our students are at the heart of everything we do, and I believe strong relationships, supportive teachers, and involved families help students succeed. My goal is to create a positive school environment where students feel comfortable learning, growing, trying new things, and becoming confident learners and leaders.

I also believe that families are an important part of a child's success. I value open communication and want our families to feel comfortable reaching out with questions, concerns, ideas, or even good news to share. We are all working toward the same goal—helping our students have a successful and positive school experience.

When I'm not at school, you will most likely find me enjoying one of my favorite hobbies—fishing. I enjoy spending time outdoors and making time to slow down and enjoy the things that matter most.

I am excited about the year ahead and look forward to getting to know our students and families, celebrating their successes, and making great memories along the way.

I am proud to be a Pettus Eagle, and I look forward to continuing to grow Homegrown Excellence at Pettus Elementary.
