Hello! My name is Mrs. Escamilla and I am excited to welcome you to 2nd grade Social Studies and Science this year. This is my first year teaching here at Pettus ISD. I love helping students disvover their success. 

About Me 

I was born and raised in Arizona and am a proud graduate of Arizona State University. I value family deeply and enjoy traveling and exploring new places with my loved ones. As a professional, I am committed to fostering inclusive and supportive environments where all students feel welcomed, respcted, and provided with the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.

  • Achievement or progress shall be reported as Still Developing and Developed 

Grades 1 - 5: 

  • A minimum of three major grades and fifteen daily grades per subject, per grading period will be 

required with two grades being entered per week, per subject. 

  • Semester grades are based upon an average of the two nine week’s grades in the semester. The two semesters (Fall and Spring) are averaged at the end of the year to determine the final grade.
