👋 Hey y'all! WELCOME TO MY CLASS!

WELCOME! I am so excited to have you in my class this year. We will be focusing strongly on writing in both English and social studies subject areas, so I hope you are prepared to put the pencil to the paper! I am so excited!

📚 What's Up? WHO AM I?

A smiling woman holds a sign welcoming students to the 2025-2026 school year.

My name is Robyn Kunze. I graduated high school from George West High School in 2001, college from Texas A&M University – College Station (Whoop!) in 2005, and began teaching that same year. This school year is year TWENTY for me! I have experience in general education core-content classes spanning from 3rd through 12th grades as well as adaptive behavior. Teaching is my passion. I found my home at Pettus ISD ten years ago, and I have enjoyed being a part of this community since then. I have three children at Pettus Secondary. McLane is a senior involved in mulitple sports and part of the practicum program through ag. McKynleigh is a sophomore cheerleader, honor student, and enrolled in dual credit with the intention of graduating high school with her associates degree already in-hand. McCoy is a freshman involved in mulitple sports with his sights set on excelling in the ag program at PSS. You will find my husband, Zac, and me at events for our children – cheering from the stands. You may also find me behind a camera taking action shots during various school events.
